TERIYAKI CHICKEN

Ingredients

Do you avoid the teriyaki marinades in the store because of all the high fructose sugars and questionable ingredients (and LOTS of them!)? Maybe you’ve checked your recipe book to find all the recipes are still laden with sugar of some sort. I have an incredible recipe that the whole family will beg to have, again & again, without any sugar added.

 

This is most flavorful when you cut chicken breasts in to small pieces and marinate for at least 8 hours. BBQ on skewers and serve with fried brown rice & vegetables.

 

4 large Chicken Breasts
1/2 C. Soy Sauce
3 Tb. Mustard
4 Garlic Cloves Crushed
1 Minced Green Onion
2 tsp. Ground Ginger Powder or chopped fresh Ginger
1/16 ts. Stevia Select Powder
 

Mix all ingredients in a strong plastic bag or container for marinating in. Add chicken to marinade and refrigerate for up to 24 hrs.

 

Leftovers are excellent for a stir-fry or teriyaki sandwich with sprouts. However, this is so delicious that there are no leftovers!
